Collective Care at Work

By the end of the lesson, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand some of the historical factors that have contributed to modern day norms in the workplace, and inquire into other healthy ways that individuals can relate to work. 
  2. Understand how culture change occurs within organizations and examples of change initiatives. 
  3. Understand the various roles in a system, and inquire into one's own roles and the collaborators one needs to co-create organizational change. 
  4. Understand the difference between empathy and compassion, and why the distinction is important for self and collective care. 
  5. Be equipped with practices to shift one's mindset toward self and collective care, including moments of stress.
