CSTE aims to increase the quality of Annual Conference abstract submissions, ensure consistency among abstract reviewers, and prepare presenting authors to share their findings.
Lesson 1 How to Write an Abstract for the CSTE Annual Conference
By the end of the lesson, participants will be able to:
- Describe the formats of abstracts accepted
- Explain how to translate public health practice into the required abstract format
- Evaluate sample abstracts.
Lesson 2 How to Review an Abstract for the CSTE Annual Conference
By the end of the lesson, participants will be able to:
- Describe the abstract review process
- Assign scores for each of the 4 criteria using the scoring scale
- Provide detailed comments for the reviewing committee
- Submit an abstract review in the Confex system
